Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons apple sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar or coconut palm sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 4 ounces pretzels, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup quinoa flakes
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.In a large bowl combine oats, quinoa flakes and pretzels.In a small bowl combine sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, apple sauce and water
  2. Toss with oat mixture and stir well to combine.Place on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes
  3. Stir and bake 8 minutes more
  4. Allow to cool before serving
  5. (Mixture will firm up as it cools.)
