  • 4 lbs apples
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1-2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 lbs pears
  • 3/4-1 cup sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons vanilla


  1. Quarter the apples and pears
  2. The easiest would be if you peel and core them first
  3. Place in a pot of water
  4. Bring to a boil
